Sheetz believes in connecting with and giving back to the communities in which we operate.

Our support of local communities and organizations takes several forms including financial donations, in-kind donations, marketing sponsorships, and volunteerism.

Donations - Support provided to advance a nonprofit organization’s mission, programs, services, and community impact. 

• Nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organizations
• Focuses on three pillars
  • Community Opportunity – Creating pathways for people to learn, grow, and succeed. 
    We support programs that expand access to education, mentorship, skill development, inclusion, and other opportunities that help individuals reach their full potential.
  • Community Essentials – Helping the community access the resources they need to thrive. 
    We support organizations addressing basic needs such as food, housing, mental health resources, organized transportation, and other critical community needs. 
  • Community Response – Standing with communities during time of need.
    We support organizations that protect, serve and respond to communities before, during, and after emergencies, disasters, and crises
   

Marketing Sponsorships - Support provided in exchange for marketing value, recognition, branding, advertising, or promotional impressions. 

• Youth Sports
• Athletics (professional, amateur, and collegiate)
• Community events

Sheetz remains committed to partnering with organizations that meet our criteria by providing the most effective support to the communities within our operational footprint.

There are no submission deadlines, and we review applications on an ongoing basis. However, once an application has been submitted, we ask that you allow a minimum of four weeks to be notified of a decision.

Requests We Are Unable to Support

While Sheetz values and appreciates the important work of nonprofit organizations and community volunteers, we are unable to fund every request we receive. As a result, the following types of requests are generally not eligible for charitable support:

• Organizations located outside of Sheetz's operational footprint.
• Solicitation, fundraising, or promotional activities conducted on Sheetz property without prior authorization.
• Requests submitted by individuals for personal endeavors or events that primarily benefit a single individual.
• Requests from faith-based organizations that support religious activities or religious instruction. Humanitarian programs that address essential community needs may be considered.
• College scholarships, tuition assistance, or other forms of academic financial aid for individuals.
• Professional development seminars, conferences, or continuing education programs
• Employee recognition, appreciation, or internal staff events.
• Travel expenses associated with educational, athletic, extracurricular, or enrichment activities.
• Beauty pageants, talent competitions, and similar individual recognition events
• Fundraising initiatives conducted on behalf of for-profit organizations.
• Political candidates, campaigns, political action committees, or partisan political activities.
• Medical research fundraising efforts. Requests focused on direct services, patient support, health education, or community-based programs may be considered.
